The children's author David Walliams dropped by publishing house.
Best-selling writer for children and TV personality David Walliams has been dropped by his longtime publishing house, according to an announcement.
A representative for the company commented: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the move was made after an inquiry regarding claims about questionable actions involving women.
The firm did not confirm the motivations for this action, adding: "We do not comment on confidential company decisions."
