Administration Decries 'Democratic Fabrication' as More Epstein Estate Photographs Released

Democratic lawmakers have made public a fresh batch of what they termed "troubling" pictures from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 photographs—some of which have been seen before—plus another 70 unveiled later on Friday constitute a small number of the almost 100,000 images provided to the House investigative panel, which is examining the conduct and connections of Epstein.

The fallen money manager was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking crimes.

Prominent Personalities in the Photos

Featured among the notable figures seen in the opening set are well-known figures featuring movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump is pictured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are redacted.

White House Response

The White House reacted to the release in a official comment, charging Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the images for electoral motives and to "try and create a false narrative."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," an administration official remarked, maintaining that "this presidency has accomplished more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have ever done by frequently urging openness, disclosing thousands of pages of documents, and demanding further investigations into Epstein's Democratic associates."

Congressional Democrat Remarks

The photos were published devoid of explanation, but per a California Democrat and senior member of the investigative panel, they raise more questions about Epstein's connections to affluent people.

"Now is the occasion to stop this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he said in a comment.

The disclosure of these documents coincides with the oversight committee continuing its probe into the affair.
